Anaconda Robolution Team Advances to Nationals

What a difference a year makes.  In 2019, the Anaconda & Butte school districts had a group of students come together and form a robotics team under the Montana Tech umbrella.  While the team worked hard, they knew they had a lot of work to do in order to be at a competitive level after finishing the year at the state tournament in 36th place.  Under the guidance of Coach Nelson the Robolution team has flourished this year and took Top Place, essentially quantifying their team as having the best robot and group in the entire state of Montana!

We could not be more proud of these students and coaches.  The national competition will be held in Houston, TX, on April 15-18. There will be a parade/sendoff prior to the team departing for the national competition. Please continue to watch the district website, follow Anaconda HS on Facebook, and keep an eye in The Anaconda Leader for more information.

Team members consist of:

Caleb Thompson
Liam Barrington
Farahbeth Barrington

Best of luck to these young men and women.  You have made both Anaconda and Butte very proud.
