Our own nurse, Heidi Nielsen, BSN, RN, NSN, has been named the Montana School Nurse of the Year! This was decided by her peers at Montana Association of School Nurses (MASN). This recognition celebrates her dedication, thoroughness, and outstanding care for students. We’re proud to honor her contributions to the Anaconda schools and her work across the state through MASN, supporting nurses and improving student health for all of Montana.
Heidi will be recognized at our board meeting on Wednesday, as well as at the following events:
Plaque and recognition at nurse's state spring conference in April;
Recognized in June by the National Association of School Nurses at their annual conference, which will be held in Las Vegas this year. The national recognition includes social media posts, a printed booklet with all the other state award recipients (and international recipients), and she'll be called onto the stage by name at the Vegas conference. It's a big shindig!
Congratulations, Heidi!
